We hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. This should be the first post of 365 this year. With the new year, we’re looking to be more consistent in blogging our daily activities.

To catch our readers up to date, we are currently visiting our daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters in the Seattle area. We flew out here, along with our son, David, to be with the rest of our family for the holidays. David is flying back tonight and Val and Malcolm will be flying back late on Friday, January 4th.

As we indicated late last year, this is the year we start traveling more, with the half-and-half deal from Malcolm’s employer. Our first adventure starts on Saturday, January 12th.

In the meantime, we’ve been relaxing here in the Pacific Northwest with the family and grandbabies. We had a great Christmas with our son-in-law’s family members and have been having a great time with the granddaughters each day. Here are a few pictures from the past several days.
