Epcot

Current Location: Fort Wilderness Campground, Disney World, Florida

This morning, we were a bit more leisurely and ate breakfast in the trailer. Then we walked up to the boat landing to catch our boat over to the parks. Technically, one would take a bus from the campground to anywhere except the Magic Kingdom, but we decided on the multi-stop way to get to Epcot.

After taking the boat to the Magic Kingdom entrance area, we hopped on the monorail and rode to the transportation center. From there, we hopped off one monorail, down the ramp, back up another ramp and hopped on the monorail for Epcot. Lots more fun than a bus.

It was after 10:00 am when we got to Epcot. We had planned to try to walk around at least half of it today, and probably return for the other half on Wednesday. As it turned out, we pretty much saw everything we wanted to today.

We had dinner reservations at the Coral Reef Restaurant. While dining there, you get a great view of their huge aquarium while you eat. It was fun watching sharks, fish and sting rays gliding past the window. After dinner, we headed back to the campground via the reverse route (monorail, then boat). We checked in at the campground trading post to pick up some purchases we had delivered, then walked to our trailer from there.

Tomorrow, we’ll be at the Magic Kingdom again. No camera this time (except for phone cameras).

Malcolm managed to get a few Epcot pictures to upload:
