Current Location: Fort Toulouse Campground, Wetumpka, Alabama
Malcolm went back to work today. Work has been pretty easy, as he has handed off quite a bit of his prior responsibilities to others. Val went over to the Fort Toulouse office and volunteered there for a while, helping to input campground data into the computer.
With impending storms moving in today, local schools released their children early to avoid them going home in inclement weather. Most of our weather didn’t arrive until around 6:00 or 6:30. The height of the weather arrived around 7:45 PM (about 1/2 hour before this blog entry was written). It has pretty much just been steady rain (almost 2 inches according to the official “Big Country Weather Station”) along with some thunder and lightning.
Our son came over and we fed him dinner, since we had an extra chicken breast. Also, he wanted to trade us powered subwoofers from our respective surround sound systems. Apparently the one we had in the trailer had more “punch” than the one he bought to replace it after we stole the first one during the surround sound installation in the trailer.
