Current Location: Fort Toulouse Campground, Wetumpka, Alabama

We had originally planned on moving to our friends’ apartment parking lot for the evening this morning, but weather and other factors made us decide to head on towards home. The original plan was to find something about halfway home (around Mobile, Alabama) and spend the night, traveling the rest of the way on Saturday.

Instead, once we realized it was only about 2:30 PM when we were going through Mobile and that it’s only a little more than 3 hours on home, we decided to keep on rolling. We rolled into Fort Toulouse at about 6:00 and went right to our favorite spot – site 32 – and hooked up the trailer.

Since we were both starving, we headed over to the nearby San Marcos restaurant and had dinner before heading back to the trailer to finish unpacking and setting up.
