Current Location: Fort Toulouse Campground, Wetumpka, Alabama

It’s been a whirlwind couple of days here at “home”. Yesterday we headed out the door and took the truck in to get the oil changed and a new fuel filter installed. From there, we headed into town and took care of grocery and miscellaneous shopping. We headed back to the trailer, relaxed for a bit, then had leftovers for dinner.

This morning we did laundry then headed over to Home Depot to start the process of getting some work done on the house in preparation to sell it. We’ll be having some new exterior doors put on and new trim around the garage door. We stopped back by the house to pick up and drop off stuff, then back to the trailer. Val hung out some of our bedding items to dry, but our quilt never quite made it. After dinner, we headed back out to the nearby laundromat and dried it, then went to DQ for ice cream.

Tomorrow we pack up and head to Georgia for the first of two Heartland Owners’ Club rallies.
