Church, Storms and Work

Current Location: Nashville KOA, Nashville, Tennessee

Sunday morning, we got up and headed to church at Hickory Grove Presbyterian Church in Mt. Juliet, about a 1/2 hour drive east of us. It was a smaller church, but the folks were very welcoming. After church, we ate lunch at Dave and Busters in the Opry Mall down the street from the campground. Once back at the trailer, Malcolm decided to take a Sunday afternoon nap, since it was a blustery, rainy day.

Later Sunday evening, we kept one eye on the weather and the other on the TV, catching up on our favorite HGTV programs interspersed with a quick check of the Weather Channel. We were fortunate that the line of storms were pretty weak by the time they dipped down into middle Tennessee. We got a brief strong rain or two, and a few rumbles of thunder.

Monday was back to work for Malcolm. Val did some grocery shopping, caught up on laundry and worked on some projects in the trailer. Malcolm grilled our fish dinner outside on the grill. After dinner, we headed out to exchange some items that Val had bought at JoAnn’s as well as pick up some more items for a scrapbook project. We stopped at Starbucks for a bit and bought a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts next door to take back to the trailer.
