Current Location: Fort Toulouse Campground, Wetumpka, Alabama

Today, Val, Elizabeth, Scarlet and David ran around and finished getting David ready to head off to boot camp. They stopped by Malcolm’s office at lunchtime and we all went to Panera Bread for lunch. Val dropped off the children at Target and took Malcolm back to work.

Malcolm took off work at 4:00 so we could all head downtown to have dinner at Wintzell’s. David and Elizabeth rode in David’s car, while Nana, Pa and Scarlet rode in the truck.

Wintzell’s is adjacent to the hotel where David is staying tonight (courtesy of the Air Force) before heading out early in the morning. We had a great dinner, then David grabbed his bag from the car and we all accompanied him to the hallway near where he was checking in and said our goodbyes.

After seeing David off, Malcolm, Val and Scarlet headed back to the trailer to play and have fun. Elizabeth went to hang out with some of her friends for a game night while we babysat.

Tomorrow, Malcolm will be running Elizabeth and Scarlet to the airport. Val has to get up early for blood tests at the hospital and then return to the trailer to prepare for surgery. Malcolm plans on working off and on at the trailer tomorrow. Wednesday is surgery day.
