Malcolm is back to work. Having David’s car is handy for getting to the office downtown (as opposed to renting a car). Val has been out exploring a bit, finding other shopping areas nearby. Taking the truck to the Ford dealer for its second oil change (over 14k miles on it now) helped her find some new shopping areas. We drove back out there this evening and walked around the shopping center a bit.

The marketing director here at the KOA finally responded with their rate for us staying here frequently and we were very pleased. It was less than half the daily going rate, plus metered electricity. That puts us generally about where we have budgeted for nightly campground fees. Given that, we’ll probably make the KOA here our home when in Nashville. The staff is nice, they just finished upgrading two rows of pull-throughs, the utilities are great and the facilities are clean and neat.
