Current Location: Coffee Creek RV Resort, Santo, Texas
We headed up to the clubhouse for breakfast (donuts) and goodbyes. We ended up staying and talking for quite a while. Malcolm headed back to the trailer around 10:00 or so and Val ended up staying and chatting until into the afternoon.
We snacked for lunch, then rounded up the laundry and took it to the laundry facility. We came back to the trailer to relax while it washed. Val headed back to the laundry to move things from washer to dryer, then again to bring it all back.
Later in the afternoon, we started prepping for moving tomorrow. Malcolm made sure the black tank was flushed and the gray tanks emptied and put away all the sewer hoses and connectors. We’ll just have to unhook water and electric tomorrow morning.
We’ll be heading to San Antonio in the morning. We’ll be trying the “back country” route of US 281, which runs right in front of the campground here and heads straight south to San Antonio.
If you have time, stop at the Koffee Kup in Hico for a great meal or piece of pie, and visit the Weismann House Chocolates next door (friend of my cousin’s owns it). The Koffee Kup has RV parking in the back. 🙂
