More Errands and Work

Current Location: Misty Mountain Camp Resort, Greenwood, Virginia

Malcolm worked some more today, though not all day. They haven’t given him a great deal of work to do, so he’s only averaging about 5 hours of work a day. We took advantage of that fact again today to run some errands after lunch. Malcolm called the Ford dealer and scheduled a 2:00 appointment to have the truck oil changed.

We left after lunch and made a stop at Goodwill. We dropped off a small bag of things to donate and shopped inside for a bit. Val found a baby blanket, a purse and a couple books for the girls. Once we left there, we arrived at the Ford dealer at 2:00 on the dot. They took the truck back and it was 3:30 before they were done. We had them replace the fuel filters and fill up the exhaust fluid as well. There was another half hour delay while they straightened out the paperwork. We were on our way by 4:00.

We stopped on the way home to pick up some allergy medicine for Malcolm. He’s been sneezing and sniffling again since we arrived in Virginia. We headed on back to the trailer and ate dinner. Val worked on her scrapbook for our travels most of the day, catching it up pretty much current. Malcolm has been scanning pictures off and on the last couple of days, as well.

After dinner, Malcolm went for a short bike ride. Later on, we decided to walk around the campground and find out where the laundry is located. Val is planning on doing some laundry before we leave here so we won’t have to worry about it at the rally next week. We also took a few pictures around the park.
