Current Location: Lake Chelan State Park, Chelan, Washington

Cole’s brother and family arrived to camp in their tent along with some other friends on Friday night. We visited them a bit and invited one of the families to set up their tent behind our trailer. On Saturday, we mainly stayed around the park and did some swimming and other leisure activities. We had Elizabeth’s birthday dinner – Skyline Chili.

Today, the others were heading to a water park to celebrate a birthday, but we decided to stay around here to accommodate the girls’ schedules. Cole, Elizabeth and the girls went swimming after lunch and then had their naps. After nap-time, we all headed into town for Cole’s birthday dinner at the Apple Cup Cafe. The food was delicious.

After dinner, we stopped at WalMart for groceries and other items. Malcolm bought a dremel tool and some carving tips to make our own stamps for letter-boxing. He also picked up a stamp pad and a book for stamping. After shopping, we headed downtown and had an ice cream treat. Back at the campground, we went for a walk around the park before heading in to relax and go to bed.
