Current Location: Washington State Fair Campground, Puyallup, Washington
The last few days have been filled with grandchild activities, playing outside, playing inside, shopping, making crafts, coloring and other activities.
On Tuesday, we headed down to the Puyallup park with Elizabeth and the girls for a concert at lunch time. We stopped by McDonalds and picked up food on the way, then spread our blankets out and enjoyed lunch and some good Celtic music. Later in the afternoon, Malcolm headed out with Wayne (Cole’s step-father) for a round of golf at the Tacoma Country Club.
This evening, we attended a Tacoma Rainiers baseball game thanks to the Puyallup Library. The girls completed the required amount of reading and got free tickets. The rest of us got tickets and went along with them. They got to parade around the field before the game. Our tickets also allowed us to each get a free meal (assuming you wanted a hot dog, chips and a bottle of water).
Sure brings back memories. We lived in Steilacoom and I worked in Puyallup for many years.
