We had a longer day today. We broke camp in Tennessee around 8:15 AM and arrived in Texarkana around 4:00 PM. We skipped the construction traffic in Arkansas on I-40 today by using the detour bypass suggested by the highway department. We had a few other trucks and a couple cars do the same. Overall, it was an uneventful drive.

Shady Pines RV Park is a very nice and new looking park that we found by skimming RV Park Reviews in the Texarkana area. We think we made a great choice. Cost was under $30, which is our target average.
