It’s already winter here. Last night was our first night with temperatures below freezing. The next couple of nights promise to be as cold. Next week repeats that again. Fortunately, our furnace is now functional again. Elzy’s RV Service came out to the campground Wednesday afternoon and had the furnace running in about 30 minutes. It needed a new control board.

The last four days have mostly been work for Malcolm and errands for Val. This afternoon, Malcolm left work at 3:00 to get an LP tank filled. After that was accomplished, we hauled our laundry over to the campground’s laundry facility. Malcolm finished working for the day while we sat in the lobby and waited for our laundry to finish.

While we were there, Malcolm went ahead and put in a reservation for our next Nashville visit in December. This visit is going to get cut two days short since we’ve decided to leave next Thursday to head on down to Panama City, Florida early. David has invited us to a Friday Thanksgiving lunch being put on at the base. Malcolm will do some evening and weekend work to make up for Thursday and Friday.
