Current Location: Fort Toulouse Campground, Wetumpka, Alabama

Malcolm worked the rest of the week here in Alabama. On Friday he worked at the trailer instead of at the office since he had a eye bothering him. We’ve done a few more little mods through the week and this weekend, including adding Lexan panels to our screen door to make it a storm door.

On Saturday, we volunteered at the French and Indian re-enactment event that was happening here at Ft. Toulouse. We generally parked cars all morning and for a short time after lunch. Malcolm took pictures later in the day. We also joined the re-enacters, staff and others for an excellent meal served by the local Dutch Oven group.

This morning we went to church, seeing several people that we didn’t see on Easter Sunday. Afterwards, we had lunch at Mellow Mushroom, then headed back to the trailer. Our friends John and Rana Krussow came over to take a tour of the trailer and to visit for a few hours. We had a great time sitting around and talking with them.

Tomorrow morning we pack up and head out on our way to Kentucky.
