Wedding and Family

Current Location: Washington State with Family

It’s been a busy week since we last blogged. We enjoyed visiting with the granddaughters and family, even with all the busy-ness of preparing for a family wedding. There were all kinds of wedding-related preparations the end of last week that kept everyone busy and running around.

Friday evening we all headed over to Elizabeth’s in-law’s house for the wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. The wedding party gathered in the yard to run through the ceremony and enjoy a good meal with family and friends. Malcolm took pictures during the evening. Earlier in the day, the girls all had their nails done. Val took pictures during that event.

Saturday was the wedding. Malcolm and Val both took pictures during various parts of the ceremony. After the bride and groom headed out from the venue, the rest of the family cleaned up the hall and headed over to the Eagles’ lodge for an after-party.

On Sunday, the family all headed out to Fox Island to visit at our son-in-law’s family’s house. They’ve been working on a construction project to add a larger bathroom and some more space to the main living room as well as extending the deck and adding a lift for Grandpa Keith’s wheelchair.

We were back out to Fox Island on Monday helping with various construction activities, as well. Malcolm and Cole spent most of the afternoon putting down boards on the deck extension.

Here are pictures from the last few days.
