Current Location: Twin Springs Campground, Menomonie, Wisconsin

We hit the road this morning around 8:00 AM and headed on up the road into Wisconsin. We had planned to drive a little further today, but started looking around as we stopped at a rest area and found this campground just around the corner. Val’s stomach had been bothering her the whole trip, so an earlier stop actually sounded good.

Wisconsin makes our 32nd state we’ve visited. Tomorrow we head on into Minnesota, our 33rd state. Our final destination at the end of the week was to be Lake Chelan State Park to meet up with our daughter and family. However, it looks like those plans will be cancelled due to a forest fire in the area. We’re continuing on the same schedule, regardless. We might end up staying somewhere else next week.
