Location: Country Gardens RV Park, Odessa, Missouri
Dates: July 27 to 28, 2017
We left Sikeston fairly early in the morning with the intent of traveling as far as we felt like and then finding a place for the night. We decided to travel a pretty fair distance and stopped for the night at Country Gardens.
We didn’t unhook the truck since we had recently purchased fuel and didn’t plan on running any errands. We stayed here before, in the fall of 2015 the evening before we had our wreck in Indiana. We’re hoping for better luck traveling west from here.
Country Gardens has a nice shop inside with a huge variety of cheeses and other products, many Amish made. We walked back up to the store while the rig cooled off and did a little shopping.
We each picked out a variety of cheeses, then took them back to the trailer and cut them into cubes. We’ll use them as a side item for our lunches on the road.

Time to cube the cheese
Other than our shopping jaunt, we relaxed in the trailer and Malcolm caught up with some items for work.
